Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan and Fujisawa, Kanagawa, Japan – Jiksak Bioengineering, Inc. (“Jiksak”) and SCOHIA PHARMA, Inc. (“SCOHIA”) announced that they have entered into a joint research agreement aimed at exploring novel therapeutic approaches for neurological disorders.
Under this collaboration, a specific drug candidate compound owned by SCOHIA will be combined with Jiksak’s expertise in its proprietary drug delivery system (DDS) technology designed for delivery to the nervous system. Through this collaboration, the two companies will explore novel research and development opportunities in the field of neurological disorders.
Neurological disorders continue to represent a significant area of unmet medical need, highlighting the demand for innovative therapeutic approaches. SCOHIA possesses extensive drug discovery expertise from target discovery to development candidate generation.
